Student Council would like to announce the creation of Student-Initiated Course Program. For the first time, Student Council will offer a process by which students will be able to propose a course with a professor and receive funding for it to appear on the COD as a for-credit course. The Academic Affairs Committee has already secured funding for the creation of trial courses for the fall semester, and Student Council intends to expand the breadth of the program over the course of the coming year.
The Student Council Academic Affairs Committee has officially released the Student-Initiated Course application, which will be due at 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, July 11th in the Student Council Office in Newcomb Hall.

Great idea. Where can I get the application?
Hello,
I am not a student, but I wanted to give you all accolades for the progressive ideas and stance you guys are taking. I own an earth-friendly dry cleaners on Main Street called EcoDry Cleaners tm and we are in communicating with the Environmental Sustainability Committee in support of the Activities Fair.
I hope student body is compelled to take advantage of the Student-Initiated Courses. It is an experience I wish were offered when I was in UnderGrad or even Grad. Good luck.
