Stand Up: Take ownership of your own safety in off-Grounds areas.
Step Up: Does your off-Grounds housing have a lighting concern? Fill out an app or grab a copy of the application for your housing manager. Know of other areas that could use better lighting? Send in an application for that off-Grounds housing area whether you live there or not. Help make our community safer at night.

Stressed about housing for next year? Already signing leases? Think it’s too early? StudCo does too.
At the beginning of this school year, our Building and Grounds committee launched the Don’t Sign It! campaign, a three-year initiative to try and fix the student-wide problem of early lease-signing dates for housing both on and off-Grounds. Want to know more about the effort or just get some more information about housing?
Take a look at the press release for details:
Have you signed a housing contract for next year?
- No (65%, 34 Votes)
- Yes (35%, 18 Votes)
Total Voters: 52
Speak Up: What do you think about early lease signings? When should leases become available? How can the student body make a difference? Leave a comment to voice your opinion.
Stand Up: Don’t be pressured into signing your lease early.
Step Up: Join the Facebook group to show your support.
