Rolling Round 1, Ready to Go!

CIO Leaders,

I hope you have your budgets ready, because we are currently accepting CIO funding requests for Rolling Round 1 of the Appropriations process!  Visit atuva.net to submit a budget.

When you think of CIOs at the University, we hope you think of Community, Ideas, and Opportunities!  The purpose of the Student Council Appropriations process is to invest in your CIOs ideas and help transform them into new opportunities for students in our University community.

Important Note: Your CIO must have attended one of our Treasurer’s Meeting sessions either last week or this past Monday in order to qualify for Appropriations funding.  Did not get a chance to have your CIO’s President or Treasurer attend a session?  Don’t worry!  Have your CIO’s Treasurer meet myself and the Appropriations Co-Chairs in our Office Hours this Thursday and Friday between 10 AM and 1 PM.  Office Hours will be held at the VPO Office inside the Student Activities Center on the 1st floor of Newcomb Hall.   One of us will work directly with you on helping you understand the process and then guide you to ODOS Business Services to do a session on reimbursements procedures.

Below I have included several pointers and key pieces of info to guide you through our first Rolling Round.  If you attended one of our Treasurer Meeting sessions, please fill out the form at the bottom of this post.  All feedback is due by Friday, September 3rd at 11:59 PM:

Important Rolling Round 1 Dates

September 1 – 5th: Electronic Budget Submission Accepted via http://atuva.net

Thursday, September 9th: Rolling Round 1 Hearings

September 13th: Decisions Finalized and Groups are emailed their allocation

November 15th: Last Date to Access Funds, Reimbursement Forms Due

How to Submit a Budget on AtUVa.net:

1) Visit http://www.atuva.net/

2) Create an account if you have not already.  Log-in with your NetBadge ID.

3) Click “Funding,” then “Apply for…,” then “Student Council Appropriations at the top of the page:

4) Be sure to include your group’s name and “Rolling Round 1″  in the title of your budget.
