Hey everyone,
I can’t believe the fall semester is already alive and kicking. I hope all 1st years and returning students have had a great start and are looking forward to what StudCo has in store this year. I’m the undergraduate representative for the Curry School and I also serve as a rep for the Community Affairs and Public Service Committees. One of my goals this year is to see more Curry Students involved in Student Council. On that note, the deadline to join is September 7th at 11:59pm!! Hopefully, some of you got to see my chalking skills in front of the Curry School before it rained last week.
Some of the changes this year include getting more feedback and ideas about what YOU want to see and do on grounds. Look out for surveys and a big push to use SpeakUp UVA, an online forum to voice YOUR ideas and concerns. I definitely will be looking at them and bringing them to various comittees to get them implemented!!
