Need a ride to the Richmond Airport (RIC) or Dulles Airport (IAD)? The UVAirBus, powered by Student Council and the UVA Parents Committee, is here to make your travel plans easier and cheaper!
$20 for Richmond Airport (each way)
$40 for Dulles Airport (each way)
Bus Schedule
Buses will run on the following schedule.
Departure and pickup location for all buses is at Old Dorms.
Buses may be cancelled due to lack of requests (if only one person signs up)
All buses leave at 2pm and return at 6pm.

The trip to Richmond Airport takes an hour and a half so please pick a shuttle time accordingly. Buses will leave on time. Please note that traffic is an unforeseen circumstance, and if that is of concern, please try to choose an earlier bus time. Buses may be canceled due to low demand.
Ticket Sales
Tickets went on sale September 1. There are 32 seats on each bus and tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Each ticket is a one-way ticket.
Come, Call, Click
- Come to the Student Activities Center open Mon-Thurs 9 am and 11pm, Friday 9am-8pm, Sat. 10pm-8pm, and Sunday 10am-11pm. You can purchase your ticket with cash, Cavalier Advantage, check or credit. The SAC is located on the first floor of Newcomb Hall.
- Call the Student Activities Center at 434.924.7314 between the hours of operation to purchase your ticket with credit card.
- Click here to buy your ticket online (small service charge applies).
You will be required to provide your name, computing ID, cell phone number, and home phone number.
Logistics
Please arrive twenty minutes before departure and bring your student ID and confirmation ticket or e-mail.
Buses will pick up and drop off U.Va Students on grounds at the Old Dorms Bus Stop on McCormick Road (see picture below). Students will be dropped off at airports outside in the middle of the departure terminals. Buses will pick up at Richmond airport outside in the middle of the arrival terminals.
**Buses will pick up at *Dulles airport at the arrival terminal at the 3rd door. Buses can’t come until exactly 6pm or else the police tell them to move. The two point of contacts for the SPRING BREAK trip will be Andi Chernau at 804 833 1153 and Jessie Cappello at 8043635073**

In the Event of Inclement Weather
Buses will run as long as flights are still running. In the event of inclement weather and airport closings, bus service will be canceled. If the buses are canceled, your money will be refunded, minus the service charge if tickets are purchased online. You will receive an e-mail with further instruction. Buses will not be rescheduled.
Refund Policy
There will be no refund for canceled reservations, except in the event that a bus is canceled due to low demand.
