We’re Here for YOU!
Student Council’s number one mission is to hear what our fellow student body wants to see done at the University. That’s why it’s so important that you take that necessary step towards voicing your opinions. Every single voice matters, and it’s our job to hear each and every single one of you out. We have made it our goal to constantly reach out to the University community, so help us get the job done by meeting us halfway.
Many of you may already know how you can go about getting your ideas heard by StudCo. For those of you who don’t, be sure to check out StudCo’s SpeakUp UVA website, where you can post any of your ideas and be sure that we will listen! While you’re at it, you should also check out HoosForHire, our newest website for the UVA community. HoosForHire is an amazing resource connecting the UVA community and allowing us to work together towards accomplishing our goals.
With elections coming up, be sure to keep up with each candidate’s platform and be an informed voter! Your voice will be represented by the leaders you elect, so it’s important that you take the opportunity to elect those individuals that you feel will successfully represent you and the UVA community. The future of this community lies in your hands, and every vote matters, so don’t forget to cast your vote this February 20-24th!!
