Meet the Chairs
As Safety and Wellness co-chair I look forward to helping improve both the physical and emotional wellness of our student body through various fun programs and activities. Outside of Council, I enjoy working as chair of Spread the Love, participating in One Less, serving Council of 2016, and teaching kids how to play soccer through Madison House. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, exploring outdoors, exercising, learning Spanish, and being (as my friends tell me) overly excited about everything at UVA!
This year I hope to facilitate ways for the UVA student body to achieve health both physically and mentally, as well as reduce the number of physical crimes on grounds. My passion is serving others through a few of my involvements: Chi Alpha Christian fellowship, Globemed, the International Buddy program, and mentoring. When I can I like to pull out the banjo or guitar, train for triathlons, or just kick back with friends.

The Safety and Wellness Committee is a group of committed members who focus on promoting and strengthening safety and wellness in the University community. While several committee members are involved in many groups around grounds that advocate safety and wellness initiatives, the majority of our members are not; they actively seek to improve and disseminate information about student safety resources and to improve the resources available to students.
