Bus Schedule
Buses will run on the following schedule. Update: An overwhelming number of requests for UVAirBus’s Spring Break run were thoughtfully considered and the schedule below has been finalized. Thanks for your feedback!
- To Richmond Airport (RIC) – Friday, March 5th: 6am and noon
- From Richmond Airport (RIC) – Sunday, March 14th: noon and 6pm
The trip to Richmond Airport takes an hour and a half so please pick a shuttle time accordingly. Buses will leave on time. Please note that traffic is an
unforeseen circumstance, and if that is of concern, please try to choose an earlier bus time.
Ticket sales
There are 32 seats on each bus and tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Each ticket is a one-way ticket.
Come, Call, or Click
- Come to the Newcomb Box Office between 9 am and 4:30 pm to purchase your ticket with cash, Cavalier Advantage, check or credit. The Box Office is located on the first floor of Newcomb Hall
- Call the Newcomb Box Office at 434-924-7314 between 9 am and 4:30 pm to purchase your ticket with credit card

You will be required to provide your name, computing ID, cell phone number, and home phone number.
Logistics
Please arrive twenty minutes before departure and bring your student ID and confirmation ticket or e-mail.
Buses will pick up and drop off U.Va Students on grounds at the Old Dorms Bus Stop on McCormick Road (see picture below). Students will be dropped off outside in the middle of the departure terminals and be picked up outside in the middle of the arrival terminals.

Important details
In the event of inclement weather
Buses will run as long as flights are still running. In the event of inclement weather and airport closings, bus service will be canceled. If the buses are canceled, your money will be refunded, minus the service charge if tickets are purchased online. You will receive an e-mail with further instruction. Buses will not be rescheduled.
Refund Policy
There will be no refund for canceled reservations, except in the case that the buses are canceled.
