Chair of the Representative Body
Siddhartha Pailla is a Ph.D-track graduate student in the Department of Systems and Information Engineering at SEAS. His research under Professor Garrick Louis aims to build capacity in developing communities through better provision of basic human services, such as clean water, sanitation, energy, and shelter. Though this is his first year on Student Council, Siddhartha is entering his 8th year at the University. Siddhartha’s other activities include The Range, Phi Sigma Kappa, Virginia Entrepreneurial Society, Jefferson Society, and other student initiatives and organizations around Grounds. In his free time, he loves rocking on the range, climbing rocks and waterfalls, and playing tennis and football.
