Chief Financial Officer

“The Chief Financial Officer shall monitor the budget of Student Council, and be responsible for balancing and reconciling its accounts on a regular basis.” – Student Council Bylaws

Katie Gaver is a fourth-year student in the McIntire School of Commerce concentrating in Finance and Accounting. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, a founding member and Public Relations Chair of Up ‘til Dawn at UVA, and a former mentor with the Big Siblings program at Madison House. In her spare time, Katie is a Harry Potter fanatic, a J.Crew devotee, and a frequent patron of late-night Christians.
As the Chief Financial Officer of Student Council for the next academic year, it is Katie’s job and goal to ensure funds are spent appropriately to further enhance the lives of each and every student at the University. As such, it is important to exercise fiscal responsibility in order to maintain the wonderful success enjoyed by her predecessor.”
