Let me start off with how excited I am this year to serve you all as the Chief Technology Officer for Student Council.

I realize that to many of you all, Student Council is a large organization run from a mysterious cloud that makes all of the decisions, that is absolutely not the case. We are actually humans who like to handle more work that ultimately will better the UVa experience for our peers. We care about your input and need you to utilize us exec members along with the rest of Student Council to transform your ideas into realities.

As a double major with Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science - Material Science, I am not afraid to put in a lot of work for an outcome that I know is going to turn out spectacularly. I have a lot of interests in sustainability and the automotive world, and hope to move into that field upon graduation.

My main goal this year is to facilitate great ideas and put them into action. Don’t be stuck with “how can I do this?”, leave that to me and my Technology Committee, for on a regular basis, I blow minds, and they will too. :]

While I am in a leadership role for 7 different organizations, don’t let that deter from thinking that I can’t be contacted or put you into my schedule. For me, leadership is a service industry. I’ve worked really hard these past couple of years juggling all of my interests, and I work best under stress, whether jumping from meeting to meeting, or running more efficiently five miles into my olympic distance triathlon.

Your ideas are important, contact me to make them a reality.

Let’s have one helluva year!
