Director of University Relations

“The Director shall coordinate the Council’s outreach efforts, with the goal of educating the Student Body, faculty, and administrators about the Council’s function and activities and its role at the University.” – Student Council Bylaws

Eric McDaniel is a third-year in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in English and Political Theory. Having previously served as both a member and chair of the Marketing and Communications committee, he is truly looking forward to continuing his involvement with Student Council as Director of University Relations. His goals for the term include fostering a community of student organizations, and making Student Council’s resources as transparent and available as possible. Outside of Student Council, Eric is involved with University Programs Council as Marketing Director, and with Homecomings Board as Chair of Publicity. In terms of his interests, Eric thoroughly enjoys sarcasm, clichés, and long, moonlit walks on the beach.
