The Student Council President has the responsibility of appointing and nominating students to serve on many of the University’s committees and task-forces.
The student representatives chosen to serve on President Sullivan’s Presidential Committees have been announced. I nominated these students in the early summer and President Sullivan and her team recently invited them to serve. [...]
On Tuesday, August 24th, President Teresa A. Sullivan addressed the Student Council at the annual Student Council Rotunda Dinner. She welcomed students back to Grounds and wished us luck for the upcoming academic year.
Our community is a special place, and Student Council is working every day to protect and improve the quality of the student experience. Council undertakes projects such as safety, environmental sustainability and academics, among others.
