A CIO Consultant is a volunteer peer leader in Student Council. They are a member of a small team of student leaders who exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of student organizations at the University of Virginia.

Fall Activities FairCIO Consultants assist you in improving your personal or organizational effectiveness. CIO Consultants strive to make your life as a CIO leader easier.

They will send you emails reminding you of important deadlines. They offer assistance in programming, training new members, developing leadership skills, renewing your CIO, applying for appropriations, fundraising, starting a new CIO, etc.

They are a direct connection to Student Council. They also provide many other services, such as CIO recognition programs, like CIO Awards. They also work to organize Activity Fairs and provide educational programs.
