Extended! Student Art Fund + Clemons Art Gallery Applications! | UVA Student Council

Deadlines for the STUDENT ARTS FUND and CLEMONS ART GALLERY applications have been extended to TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3rd at midnight.

Busy time of the semester and missed the deadline? Here’s one more opportunity for Arts $$$ and a yearlong exhibition space!

Want to have the unparalleled opportunity of having your artwork exhibited in Clemons Art Gallery, a building that sees 1,500 views a day, 200,000 a semester, and 400,000 a year? Interested in the possibility of seeing your artwork sold at an end of the year student auction, where all the proceeds go back to YOU? Or maybe you just want to see the bare walls of Clemons spruced up?

Any type of art is welcome, including film, poetry, performance art, as well as photography, painting, drawing and more! Artwork can be of any size. Send us work you have already completed or proposals for work you would like to create! Site-specific installations are welcome.

This year’s theme is: PERCEPTION. Feel free to take this idea and run away with it — we want to see big ideas!

All submissions NOW due Dec 3rd at midnight

Attention all creative students, of any discipline! Have an idea for a project that you’ve been dying to do, but can’t find the funding to support it? You should apply to the Student Arts Fund and become a 2013-2014 Arts Fellow!

Formerly known as the Independent Student Art Project Fund (ISAPF), the Student Arts Fund dispenses $2,500 to students (both undergraduate and graduate) who wish to work on a creative project of any sort. All media are welcome, and out-of-the-box thinking is encouraged!

Applications are NOW due December 3rd at midnight and can be found APPLY HERE. Please email studentartsfund@gmail.com with any and all questions, and be sure to share this opportunity with your friends!
