Student Arts seeks to identify, communicate, and satisfy the needs of the arts community at the University of Virginia by providing resources, accessibility, and support to anyone wishing to engage in the arts through participation or observation.

Arts Network Night

Arts professionals are invited to speak as panelists and share advice and wisdom for any students interested in a career in the arts. Past panelists have included:

Clemons Art Gallery

Have you seen those paintings, drawings, and artwork in Clemons library? We head that gallery. Check back October 23rd for applications to have your artwork displayed in the Clemons gallery.

SAB Renovation

If we want the arts to grow at UVA, student (performing) arts groups need space to rehearse. The Student Activities Building is the perfect place to rebuild or renovate into an appropriate and available space for rehearsals and performances for on grounds arts CIOS.

Future Initiatives

1 Credit Art Classes – We have 1 credit classes for yoga and scuba diving – why not drawing or painting or photography?

Student Arts Fund – Individual student artists are given grant funding to pursue specific projects, which are documented then showcased at the annual Student Arts Fund Gallery! To apply, check back here when applications open October 23rd.

Arts Madness – A week long series of engaging arts events.
