Work on the Student Remembrance Garden Continues | UVA Student Council

The Buildings & Grounds committee has been refining the details of the Student Remembrance Garden and creating a schedule for the next six months of work ahead.  They will spend of the spring finalizing the design, waiting on construction drawings from Rhodeside & Harwell, acquiring construction clearances, and other logistical details.  Construction will begin immediately after Final Exercises in May, and they will be completed before the end of the summer.  The committee is concurrently working on the creation of an accessible Lawn Room, mapping the trees of the Lawn, and finding a home for a future Resilience (“Nap”) Room at the University.
